Terms of Service
Effective date: July 22, 2026
These Terms govern your use of PalmReading.pro ("the Service"). By uploading a palm photo or paying for a full reading, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is — and what it is not
PalmReading.pro generates an editorial-style palm reading from a photo of your hand using an AI model. You get a free preview immediately; a full reading (archetype + five chapters covering Love, Career, Relationships, Energy, and Future) costs $3.99 USD as a one-time payment (or the local price shown before checkout in some regions, such as ₹99 in India and ¥500 in Japan).
The reading is for entertainment and self-reflection only. It is not:
- medical, mental-health, or therapeutic advice
- financial, legal, or career advice
- a prediction of future events, lifespan, illness, or death
- a substitute for professional consultation in any of the above areas
We don't claim palmistry has scientific validity. Treat the output the way you'd treat a thoughtful horoscope: a prompt for reflection, not a diagnosis.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it you confirm you meet that age requirement.
3. Your responsibilities when you upload
You agree that you have the right to upload the photo you provide — meaning either it's a photo of your own hand, or it's a photo of someone who has agreed to have their hand analyzed by an AI service.
By uploading, you also agree that we may store the palm photo and use it internally to investigate failed or rejected readings, improve photo-quality checks, and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use uploaded photos to train AI models or sell them.
You agree not to upload:
- Photos that contain anyone other than the hand (e.g., faces, identifying tattoos in context, minors)
- Sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise unlawful content
- Photos that violate someone else's privacy or intellectual property rights
- Content designed to abuse, harass, or harm anyone
We use our AI providers' safety filters and our own checks to reject obvious violations; if a photo is rejected you'll be told without being charged.
4. Payment, refunds, and disputes
- The full reading is a one-time charge processed by Stripe: $3.99 USD, or the local price shown before checkout in some regions (such as ₹99 in India and ¥500 in Japan).
- We do not store, see, or process your card details. Stripe handles all card data subject to their own terms.
- Refunds. Because the reading is generated on demand and delivered immediately, payments are generally final. That said, if anything goes wrong on our end — the reading fails to generate, the email never arrives, the page errors out — email contact@palmreading.pro and we'll either re-deliver or refund, case by case.
- Chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we may suspend further access from your IP and email. We'd much rather just refund you directly.
5. The unlock URL is private
When you pay, you receive a URL like /palm-reading/unlocked?token=…. Anyone with that token can:
- View the full reading
- Re-email a copy of the reading to any address (capped at 5 sends per token)
Treat the URL the way you'd treat a magic link in an email. We don't have user accounts; we can't help recover a lost URL unless you also have the payment email — in which case email us and we'll re-send.
6. Public share URLs (/r/{slug})
If you click a "Share" button on your paid reading, we generate a public URL at /r/{slug} containing an anonymized version of your reading (archetype + tagline + five chapter bodies, but no email, no palm photo, no unlock token).
By clicking Share, you grant us permission to host that anonymized snapshot at a public URL until you ask us to take it down. Email us the slug to delete it any time.
7. Intellectual property
- The reading text itself — the prose generated for you — is yours to keep, screenshot, share, email to friends, post on social media, or use in any non-commercial context. We don't claim copyright over the words generated about your specific palm.
- The PalmReading.pro platform — the brand, the editorial layout, the prompts, the code — is ours. Don't copy it, scrape it, resell it, or rebuild a competitor on top of our service.
- Don't reverse-engineer or stress-test the rate limits, payment flow, or AI pipeline. We have abuse protections; respect them.
8. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Upload content that violates Section 3
- Use scripts, bots, or automated tools to bypass rate limits
- Resell readings as your own service
- Attempt to extract, expose, or exfiltrate other users' data
- Use the Service in any way that is unlawful in your jurisdiction
We may suspend or block access (IP-level or email-level) if we detect abuse, with or without notice.
9. Service availability & changes
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee it. The Service depends on Cloudflare, Stripe, DeepSeek, Google Gemini, and Resend — outages there can affect us. We're not liable for downtime, but if you paid right before an outage and didn't get your reading, see Section 4.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Material changes that affect paid readings (e.g. the format of the report) will only apply to readings purchased after the change.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
The reading is generated by a probabilistic AI model. Different photos, lighting, or angles can produce different readings. We don't warrant that the reading is accurate, reproducible, or meaningful in any objective sense. See Section 1.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PalmReading.pro and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: emotional distress from the reading, decisions you made in reliance on the reading, lost data, or third-party actions on your shared URLs.
If we are found liable to you for any reason, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the reading in question (typically $3.99 or the local equivalent) or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your violation of these Terms — especially the upload restrictions in Section 3.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company operating PalmReading.pro is registered. Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer protection law mandates otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The updated version takes effect when posted; the "effective date" at the top of this page will change. Significant changes that affect paying users will be summarized in a banner or email.
